The efficiency of our Modular Hospital is obvious from the first time you see it. Unlike in a typical hospital design which uses long corridors connecting nurse stations to remote patients, our Modular Hospital design uses a circular form. Our circular design places all patients equidistant from the caregivers in the central core. This reduces the number of steps required for the care givers to serve their patients and increases the amount of time available to provide needed healthcare support. In addition, our Modular Hospital is designed to be operated by a staff of four care givers at any one time. Our design creates the optimal relationship of care givers to patients. By limiting the number of beds per care giver, our Modular Hospital operates on a 1.1 to 1 ratio of patients to caregivers. Compared to the 7.5 to 1 ratio typical of community hospitals, this efficiency translates to hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings.

Our Modular Hospital design also eliminates many of the services that result in enormous costs in terms of space and personnel. Food service is accomplished using prepackaged meals warmed, served, and disposed of by the internal personal rather than a central kitchen and dining area. Similarly, the need for laundry service including soiled utility spaces is eliminated by the use of non-woven disposable fabrics for bed linens, gowns and scrubs. These products can be provided at a fraction of the cost of traditional woven equivalents.

The efficiency of form extends to the structural system. By utilizing repetitive steel frames, our Modular Hospital can be constructed very quickly with minimal opportunities for error. In addition, the common frame shape allows for ease of handling, packaging, and shipping to the end user. With site preparation and foundations completed, our modular hospital can be erected and operational in approximately two months.
